Christian Science has brought me many blessings and has changed the entire course of my life. A number of years ago, while listening to a lady explain this new teaching, I was healed of some ills that were troubling me. However, I did not realize the source of this healing until later, when I began the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Then I discovered that the fear of eating certain foods, and the belief of taking cold, had vanished with my first glimpse of the truth.

A very convincing proof of the efficacy of Christian Science was the healing of neuritis. This particular form of error had troubled me at intervals for many months. Many sleepless nights were endured because of the suffering. My understanding at that time seemed very small, but through almost constant study of the textbook and other writings by our Leader, and with the faithful work of a practitioner, I was permanently healed. There has never been the slightest return of the trouble.

During the winter of 1929, I was suddenly taken very ill with what seemed to be influenza. Again with the help of a practitioner I was healed in a very short time. It is now nearly twenty years since I took up the study of Christian Science in earnest, and during that time not only have I been healed physically, but many of the everyday problems of life have been solved.
