The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Kalamazoo, Michigan (First Church).
Lecturer: Robert Stanley Ross; introduced by Clarence V. Brown, who said:—
During times like the present, when the world seems to be suffering from wrong thinking, wrong talking, and wrong living, we need constantly to turn our attention away from the material to the spiritual source of all goodness, substance, and intelligence, that our understanding may be supported and increased with more of the truth.
A Christian Science lecture provides us with a season of refreshment, a feast of good things. Whoever is hungering and thirsting for righteousness will be filled. Whoever has a special need may find that need supplied through a better spiritual understanding of his relationship with his heavenly Father. Whoever is in bondage to sin or sickness will find release as his faith is increased to understanding.
