Some sixteen years ago I was suffering from cancer of the eye. I had doctored for three years with more than twenty doctors, and was finally told that I had only three or four weeks to live. Christian Science was then presented to me. For a month a practitioner worked faithfully for me, and the cancer disappeared. My sister told me that I was healed, but I said that I could not see. Her reply was that the same truth which had healed me of cancer could also restore my sight; and I am glad to say that with three additional treatments my sight was completely restored.

Since then God has been our only physician in a family with five children. Some of the healings experienced were of diphtheria, loss of speech, measles, chicken pox, double pneumonia, tuberculosis, sick headaches, colds, toothache, numbness in arm and shoulder, pain in a limb, sprained ankles, skin disease, bone felon, whooping cough, ivy poisoning, influenza, and a severe burn. In the last case, as soon as the practitioner had given a treatment the pain ceased, and in a few days all signs of the burn disappeared.

I am thankful for the Lesson-Sermons from the Christian Science Quarterly, for church services, for testimonies given at the Wednesday evening meetings, and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. I cannot find words to express my gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our dear Leader.
