Every day I am more and more grateful for the revelation...
Every day I am more and more grateful for the revelation of Christian Science. I have studied this Science since the year 1914, and it has brought me great joy and peace. When I first heard of it, through a friend, I was losing my hair and my head was almost bald. I had never seen the book Science and Health. After reading the Lesson-Sermons from the Christian Science Quarterly every day for a fortnight, I looked at the back of my head and found that it was covered with hair about four inches long. It has been normal ever since.
A few years after this I was knocked down by a cart and the wheel went over my right leg. Whilst I was on the ground these words came to me: There is no sensation in matter. When I was helped up I found I could walk, and went into a house near by till I got over the shock, after which I was driven home. I had been in bed for a fortnight when it came to me that I was making too great a reality of this difficulty. I got up the next day and had one absent treatment. The leg got quite well and has never troubled me since.
Over a year ago I was seized with a stroke and was in bed for one month. I was then in my seventy-fourth year, and after Christian Science treatment I got up quite well. I can walk without the aid of a stick or any help whatever. I am very grateful to God, for His love and goodness, and to Mary Baker Eddy, who gave us this beautiful, demonstrable truth.—(Mrs.) Elizabeth Jones, Mount Lawley, Perth, Western Australia.
