Mary Baker Eddy has set forth in the Preface to Science and Health this statement (p. vii): "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." This statement is held very near and dear to the hearts of Christian Scientists, because they are learning that in the proportion to which they conform their thinking and daily living to the sustaining infinite God, and to the teachings of Jesus, in that proportion will blessings be realized in their daily experiences. In this age, Christian Science has brought to mankind the undeniable evidence of the living God, which proves that He rewards the upright man, bringing rest and freedom from the burdens of erroneous thoughts and the false beliefs of sin, sickness, and death, from which the whole world needs so much to be freed.
