It is with joy that I express gratitude for the healing...
It is with joy that I express gratitude for the healing power of Truth as found in Christian Science. Only as I ceased turning to false gods did I find the real God, in whom "we live, and move, and have our being."
My first physical healing was of organic misplacement and diseased conditions for which I had undergone four operations, rest cures, electrical treatments, and dieting. The doctors told me that I could never experience motherhood, nor expect in any way to be normal and strong. Nervous prostration added great burdens to my already overworried condition, which resulted in some kind of mental attacks which were agonizing, and which no one could diagnose. While I am grateful for the kindness the doctors showed me, I am even more grateful that I found the much needed and desired health through the help of a practitioner of Christian Science.
These experiences came while I was in my teens. Since then I have married and have had three fine, healthy children. With these little ones, so-caleld children's diseases have been passed through without any ill effects. We have seen what could have been serious accidents prevented by the declaration of the presence of divine Mind. But far greater than all this is the wonderful knowledge that divine Principle is ever with us, and is available at all times and under all circumstances to cast out evils and bring us into a deeper realization of the allness of God and the at-one-ment of God and man.
