South Wales Echo and Express
In a recent issue the review of a book written by a doctor refers to Christian Science in a manner which would mislead your readers. The author's opinion would tend to show that he has not studied this subject.
It was stated that Christian Science and other forms of faith healing had been evolved for the exploitation of a too confiding public, and that it was difficult to believe it owed its origin to purely spiritual sources or that ulterior motives of a sordid nature could be eliminated.
May I explain that Christian Science is quite distinct from any form of faith healing and that it is of the highest spiritual conception.
A well-known archdeacon with a world-wide reputation said that the concept of God in Christian Science was the finest concept of Deity that had ever come to the mind of man.
Christian Science is founded absolutely on the Bible and the works of Christ Jesus. Christian Science will stand by its works, and millions bless the day that Mary Baker Eddy gave her discovery to the world.
