[An expression of gratitude from Australia for the Christian Science lectures]

A friend invited me to the first lecture on Christian Science...

A friend invited me to the first lecture on Christian Science I ever attended. There was no expectation, on my part, of receiving any comfort, as I had already tried all available religions that I knew of and attended many lectures and meetings only to feel with Job, "Is there any taste in the white of an egg?" Through many upheavals and tribulations, I had reached the place where, like Job, I cried, "Oh that I knew where I might find him!"

This Christian Science lecture was different from anything before experienced, and, with the first sentence, I jumped to attention and began to take notice. My astonishment at the quality of the discourse remains quite clearly in my memory to this day.

I began to attend the local Christian Science services. That was about ten years ago.
