Item of Interest
One of the Boston Protestant churches, in its weekly folder entitled "Good News for This Week," pays a distinct compliment to the Christian Science Mother Church in the following words:
"The Christian Scientists announce—as usual—that they will not need any more money after July 1st to completely pay for their new $4,000,000 building. That was exactly what happened when they built their beautiful 'Mother Church.' Those of us who have been in the habit of criticizing the Christian Science movement had better withhold our criticism until we have, at least, done as much as their members in giving to the limit of our capacities to support the church to which we belong. Let's match the Christian Scientist in giving of our earthly means to the support of our church through the regular envelopes."
Courteous recognition like this from neighboring churches is becoming more and more frequent—an evidence of growing Christian fellowship.
