From the bottom of my heart I give thanks to God for having given me spiritual understanding through Christian Science. With patience, kindness, and love, a Christian Science practitioner has helped and guided me. It was a long struggle in spite of numerous proofs of God's care, among them the healing in a few days of angina pectoris of long standing, and acute nephritis with complications, considered very serious by the doctors; the healings of various diseases affecting several members of my family; and the solving of very intricate pecuniary and personal problems. The practitioner worked on these hard and painful cases untiringly. The error was in my thinking, and as long as I would not say with sincerity, "Thy will be done," and, "Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth," my problems seemed to be ever more numerous. "Thy will be done" is the key to the kingdom of heaven. I found that I must get self out of the way and let the Father act.
I am very grateful to Christian Science for giving me spiritual nourishment; and my sincere gratitude goes to Mrs. Eddy, who showed us the way to Truth. I do not forget the dear and devoted practitioner who helped me to gain my mental uplifting. I also am grateful for the whole Christian Science movement, which works untiringly for the spiritual regeneration of humanity.
(Mrs.) Emy Ganeval, Lausanne, Switzerland.
