"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day...

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Those words have indeed come to mean a great deal to me, and with the teachings of Christian Science as an inspiration I am learning that I must live in the present, not in the past or the future, for today is rich with blessings. For the last eight years, particularly, I have endeavored to live in accordance with this understanding. Because the death of a loved one had come early into my experience, I found that I must demonstrate over the desire to dwell in bygone days. If Christian Science had helped me with this problem alone I should be very thankful, but its work did not cease there. I discovered that while I was away at school in an environment vastly different from that to which I had been accustomed, and at a distance from a Christian Science church and Sunday school, even then I was not alone, and never could be.

For almost twenty years I have known of this wonderful truth. Healings of nervous indigestion, measles, mumps, and colds, have released me from laws to which the material world would make us slaves; other healings have left me with clear thoughts and a happy heart. For the latter I think I am most happy, for with clear thinking goes a well body.

In closing I would add that the beauty of this religion is one of its greatest attractions for me—the simplicity and precision of the Christian Science services, the teachings of this common-sense religion, and the ways of presenting this truth to the world in its entirety.—(Miss) Renée Lucette Blunt, Nashua, New Hampshire.
