I am most grateful for the opportunity of expressing my gratitude for the healing power of Christian Science as manifested in an instantaneous healing of lung trouble. Over four years ago, quick consumption began to appear, so that within a short time breathing was very difficult. At the same time erysipelas appeared in both eyes, and extended around my head, and was very painful. Within less than an hour after I reached the Christian Science practitioner, my breathing became normal. All pain ceased, and the inflammation subsided quickly.
Some weeks later the difficulty returned with equal rapidity. As I seemed unable to handle it, I asked God to show me why I had not made my demonstration. The parable of the ten lepers came to thought, and I saw that it was the grateful heart which returned to thank God for the blessing received, and that gained the assurance from the Master which finished the healing. The next morning I was completely free, and I not only have remained free from these discords but have been able to destroy quickly such troubles as colds and influenza.
I should also like to mention a healing of a leg bone broken just above the ankle. It was healed so quickly that I lost no time from work.
