Gratitude prompts me to acknowledge what Christian Science has done for me. I have experienced a number of healings during the past eleven years, some of which are the result of applying what I have learned of the truth as taught by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Other healings, resulting from the work of practitioners, include those of depression, neuritis, hemorrhages at the back of the eye, warts, scalds, and symptoms of tuberculosis, manifested as hemorrhages from the lungs.
I feel particularly grateful for a healing of self-consciousness. This came about as a direct result of giving my first testimony at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting at a branch church.
I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for the periodicals, and especially for the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons, which are a source of great joy and help in meeting the day's problems.
(Mrs.) Winnie Warne, Billericay, Essex, England.
