"You will win"
On page 109 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy tells us how she persevered in her search for the Science of healing; and she adds, "I won my way to absolute conclusions through divine revelation, reason, and demonstration." As a result of her vision and perseverance, the world is presented with a mass of irrefutable healing evidence of the truth of Christian Science. It is for present and future students of Christian Science to win their way, even as Mrs. Eddy won her way, "through divine revelation, reason, and demonstration."
The deep student of this subject knows beyond a doubt that Christian Science, brought to humanity through Mrs. Eddy's pure consciousness, is a revelation of the demonstrable Science of harmonious spiritual being. He knows that this Science, being above all human authority, material belief, or so-called law, is unaffected by the complexity of human problems ; by the seeming acute or chronic character of disease; or by mortal resistance to its message. Becoming fully persuaded that Christian Science is the right way, the winning way, the student resolves to abide in it through watchfulness, and through depending on infinite Mind for inspiration, moral courage, for the spirit of obedience, and love for his fellow men. Standing by the revelation of Christian Science, he finds that it stands by him in his every effort to prove the fact that God is All-in-all. With this revelation of true being he overcomes false beliefs relating to religion, health, heredity, opportunity, and to it he constantly turns for enlightenment and healing.
Next in order, Mrs. Eddy mentions reason. Isaiah wrote, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." One who reasons "together" with God finds the way out of his troubles. Becoming more and more conscious that sin has no creator or creation, the Christian Scientist refuses to descend to reasoning according to the evidence of the five physical senses, which uphold the supposed power and attraction of sin—for this is not the "reason" which led Mrs. Eddy on to victory. Discordant evidence is unreasonable, for it denies the truth of being and is a blinding and binding influence from which Christian Science alone can set one free.
