I should like to express my appreciation of Christian Science
I should like to express my appreciation of Christian Science. For many years I had an antipathy toward what I thought Christian Science to be, but it was always being brought before me.
Several years ago certain facts concerning some of my affairs began to be uncovered to me which seemed unbelievable. I knew not where to turn for assistance, but realized that it was my plain duty to protect my children and their interests. My only wish was to do right by all concerned and for them to do right by me. I was very fond of my church, but my religion was not meeting my need. I commenced to study other religions. In the meantime my arms and hands became paralyzed; the doctors were very kind to me, but they did not relieve me.
"Man's extremity is God's opportunity." So it was then I turned to Christian Science as a last resort, and was healed. For this physical healing I am very grateful, but I am more grateful for the spiritual understanding that Christian Science has given to me. It is the most beautiful thing that has ever come into my life, and with it has come a wonderful peace of mind. Christian Science has solved all these problems, as well as given me protection and guidance in business affairs. I have learned to feel kindly disposed towards my fellow men and to see them as, in reality, God's ideas. It has also given me the understanding that I have dominion in knowing that whatever is rightfully mine cannot be taken from me. I am also grateful to a sincere and loving practitioner through whom I gained some understanding of the truth of God's power.
