"Down Our Lane" is always amusing and entertaining, but it is hardly in keeping with its cheerful purpose when the joke is made at the expense of a religion.

As your newspaper has a large reading public interested in the teachings of Christian Science, perhaps you will allow me space to correct the misleading impression that its followers believe in magic, or charm, which a remark in this column conveyed.
