Faith

Be thou content with one step at a time
And, seeing it, walk thou the way God leads;
He will make plain the purpose of His plan;
Doubt not that He will furnish all thy needs.

Great rivers wind between o'erlapping hills,
Grim shadows fall but cannot stem their flow.
The narrow stream its gorge will open wide,
And onward to the broader ocean go.

Thou dost not need to see the end in sight,
It is enough to know that God is there.
Thus, with a faith that moves the mountain high,
Be thou content that thou art in His care.

There are no changes in the law divine;
There are no errors in God's perfect plan.
His work is done, and held within His hand,
And knowing it is all the work of man.
