A letter which appeared in the Readers' Forum the other day properly took exception to the remarks of a Calgary clergyman to the effect that "spiritualism and Christian Science are works of the devil." It should also be said that Christian Science and spiritualism have nothing in common, as a careful study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy will show.

The reading of this textbook in conjunction with the Bible is bringing healing to people all over the world today. At the testimony meetings held in Christian Science churches every Wednesday evening, gratitude to God is simply and sincerely expressed for the healing and regeneration brought by Christian Science to those who accept its teachings. The weekly and monthly periodicals, the Christian Science Sentinel and The Christian Science Journal, and The Heralds of Christian Science contain well-authenticated testimonies of the healing of disease and sin by prayer. These healings are the works of God and give evidence of the fact that "by their fruits ye shall know them."
