While reading aloud some of the testimonies in a Christian Science Sentinel, our small daughter said, "Mother, why don't you send in your testimony?" I answered that I had thought of writing one many times, but kept putting it off. "But, mother," said our daughter, "if everybody did that we wouldn't have any testimonies to read." What an unconscious rebuke from a child! It was enough to spur me on to share a few of my many blessings, and I do so with joy and love.

About twelve years ago I had the privilege of living several months in the home of a Christian Scientist. She so honestly, so earnestly, so successfully lived what she believed that I was inspired by her quiet example to study Christian Science to see what made her home so free from sickness and so radiant with love. I was soon convinced that Christian Science was what I wanted, so I eagerly opened my thought to it.

Knowing that our baby was due to arrive shortly, I telephoned an out-of-town practitioner for treatment at the time of delivery, and was wonderfully helped. There was a normal birth and a perfectly normal, healthy daughter, who in the twelve years since has never had anything but Christian Science treatment for sickness or accidents, nor has she spent a whole day in bed.
