Sun-Telegraph
In the Sun-Telegraph of December 5, a contributor opines that because the government has decided to interest itself in disease research, "this will not please those who believe that disease is unreal;" and he adds, "But when cancer develops, their belief, unfortunately, changes."
Permit me to say that the writer's remark as to change of belief does not apply to Christian Scientists, who know that disease is unreal. Many cases of cancer, diagnosed as such by reputable physicians, have been healed by such knowledge.
The difference between belief and understanding is apt to be as great as the distance between the poles. Christ Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
