It is with a grateful heart I write this testimony. My first healing, thirty years ago, was of constipation and heart trouble. I shall never forget the peace and harmony I felt after my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner. I feft that this was the truth I had many times desired. When but a child I often wondered why people were not healed as Jesus healed them.

I experienced painless childbirth when our youngest child was born. This was even greater proof to me that Christian Science is the truth Jesus taught when he was on earth, as I had given birth to six children previous to that time, and had suffered greatly.

We have had many healings in our family, some with the loving help of faithful practitioners, others by applying our own understanding of the truth. About twenty years ago a niece who was living in our home was most wonderfully healed of tuberculosis; her parents had both passed on with this ailment. She is to-day a strong, healthy woman.

I am very grateful for the physical healings, but more so for the spiritual healing. When earnestly applied, Christian Science has never failed to meet all our problems, physical, mental, and financial. I am grateful for all the activities of The Mother Church; for membership in this church and also in the local Christian Science Society, where I have had the privilege of serving as Reader; and also for class instruction. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the love and patience she had, to give to the world the Christ-teachings in a way we can understand, live, and practice. My earnest desire is to be able to reflect more love to all mankind, and to help others as I have been helped.
