There was a time when we could live by ourselves, and dissociate ourselves from the family of nations, and from the world. We are learning now that we cannot do it. Some thought we had learned this lesson in the war. But it has taken all the years since the war to drive it home. And perhaps it is not home yet. We must come together as members of one family.
