I am sending this testimony as an expression of gratitude to God for having led me to know Christian Science and thereby giving me a slight understanding of His perfect law. I have had many healings through the application of my small knowledge of Christian Science. These have generally been obtained by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Among these healings are those of mumps; acute nervous indigestion with the accompanying sick headaches, fainting spells, and dizziness; intestinal trouble; rheumatism; and a sprained ankle which did not interfere with my usual daily activity.

I have also been able to overcome fear, anxiety, and grief on many occasions. There have been many healings in my family, though for a long time I was the only student of Christian Science among them. Young relatives of my husband, though understanding only French, have become earnest students of Science and Health, and have had several healings and demonstrations of harmony, among which were three experiences of rapid childbirth without complications, much to the surprise of those in attendance.

During the war my husband was most wonderfully protected throughout the years spent in the trenches and the more trying experience of several months' captivity. From this position I was, through divine Love's guidance, enabled to obtain his release and his return to France, where he was again enabled to do very helpful work. He has also had much protection in his business enterprises, and has suffered no loss of any kind, notwithstanding the present business difficulties.
