So many have been the blessings that have come into my experience through the study and application of Christian Science that it would be impossible to cite them all. The following healings are among those outstanding.

Christian Science presented itself to me at a time when great depression, sorrow, and almost despair, resulting from the loss of loved ones, had produced a severe nervous breakdown. I had had but little confidence in materia medica at any time, my parents having administered homeopathic medicine whenever there had been a case of illness in the family. During the time of the above-mentioned inharmonious condition I was persuaded to try osteopathy. Four months of constant treatment, however, failed to bring about results satisfactory even in the slightest degree. At this point a friend and coworker expressed unusual kindness and tenderness toward me, and I was informed by other friends that she was a faithful student of Christian Science. Already I had felt mentally the healing effect of love; but as the physical condition meanwhile remained the same, I decided to investigate this method of healing, hitherto entirely unknown to me.

My first visit with a Christian Science practitioner resulted in an instantaneous healing, not only of the nervous condition, but also of an inharmonious condition of the eyes, for which glasses had been worn for a number of years. Moreover, at intervals during childhood the eyelids had been so inflamed that it became necessary for my mother to bathe my eyes before it was possible for me to open them in the morning upon awakening. Glasses were now laid aside and the eyelids were normal. These healings have been complete.
