I have received so much benefit from reading the testimonies...

I have received so much benefit from reading the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel that I should like publicly to express my thanks for them and gratefully to acknowledge all the benefits I have received through studying Christian Science. I am grateful most of all for the knowledge of God which it has brought to me, God who is near at all times to comfort and sustain one in the hour of need, God who is Love, and who teaches us how to be like Him. He has taught me how to forgive—to give love for hate, kindness for unkindness.

I have been healed of influenza, tonsillitis, rheumatism, and many other ailments, sometimes with the help of a practitioner, mostly through absent treatment, and many times through my own understanding of Truth. As I have striven to "seek ... first the kingdom of God," so have my daily needs been met in a wonderful way. My son was a very puny baby at birth and was not expected to live, but I knew always that man is God's idea, pure and perfect, and just held on to this truth. He grew strong, and to-day is a very healthy child. I have been protected in traveling and in accidents. Lost articles have been restored, and the way has been found when I have lost my road while walking.

I am grateful to God, and to Mary Baker Eddy who so valiantly broke the trail through materialism which we may follow.—(Mrs.) Mina Ward, Sunny Brae, New Brunswick, Canada.
