The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society call attention to the fact that the directory of practitioners in The Christian Science Journal is published only for its evidently intended use; but since everybody has access to the names and addresses in this directory, they can be taken for other uses, and have been. Since the Publishing Society cannot prevent misuses of the Journal, the listed practitioners who receive circulars or solicitations by mail are expected to exercise the necessary discernment and wisdom.
