Demonstration

Our lives are sweetened with Thy love; our eyes
Once blind, are open—gone our tears and sighs;
No longer by the adversary bound,
Our doubts dispelled—we walk on holy ground.

Our faith is strengthened, all our needs are met;
We hear Thy voice, pain flees; and so, the debt
We owe, we fain would pay with service meek,
Uplift the feeble hands, console the weak,

Offer the cup which, blessing, blesses all,
And frees from error's false claim to enthrall,
Sharing Love's gifts; and lo! an angel sings,
Gladdening our path with healing in its wings.
