Solitude

In solitude thoughts have their birth,
Hope heals the heart grief-bowed to earth,
Love crowns the cross whereon our tears
Have futile proved to vanquish fears.

Alone in "Soul's sweet solitude"Poems, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 31.
Realities are clearly viewed,
Behold the vision stripped of pride,
Love giving all—and satisfied!

Dear solitude! In your retreat
I learn of selfless love complete,
And find at-one-ment with the Mind
Divinely pure, supremely kind!
