Christian Science has healed me of abscesses, influenza, false growth, colds, burns, infection, chapped hands, and many other things too numerous to mention. One healing I should like to tell about in particular. I had had several abscesses in my ears, generally accompanied by intense pain, although they were ultimately healed. One day one of my ears seemed very stuffy and full, and upon putting my handkerchief up to it, I found that the abscess was discharging; but there had been no pain or soreness whatever. This healing has stood out like a beacon light to me. Error may seem to manifest itself as something, but we can prove it powerless to make us suffer.

I am very grateful for these healings; also for membership in The Mother Church, and a branch church; for all our church activities and for the privilege of serving in some of them; for our literature; for Mrs. Eddy's writings, especially the Manual of The Mother Church, and for the practitioners who have helped me in my progress Spiritward. I am grateful for the understanding of God that lifts and sustains me in the face of trials and temptations when I earnestly apply this understanding to these problems.
