Among the Churches

Current Notes

Plymouth Review

Plymouth, Wisconsin (First Church).—Property, located at Smith and Elizabeth Streets, which was purchased by First Church of Christ, Scientist, has now been remodeled into a church home during the past months. Of moderate size and excellent lighting, the auditorium on the first floor will seat eighty persons. A Readers' platform, with a doorway on the right, has been constructed in the west of the room. The remaining space on the second floor has been remodeled into a neat apartment of four rooms with a separate entrance on the north. A green roof and green window trims together with red chimneys add to the attractiveness of the building. The lawn, seventy-five by fifty-four feet, will be unbroken, except for a border of shrubbery and flowers on the west side. This newly acquired property marks the culmination of an earnest desire of local Christian Scientists for a church home of their own, and the remodeling of the property has been instrumental in the general improvement of the corner.—Plymouth Review.
