Lecturer: Frank Bell; introduced by William H. Brown, who said:—

On page 227 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, are these words: "Christian Science raises the standard of liberty and cries: 'Follow me! Escape from the bondage of sickness, sin, and death!' Jesus marked out the way. Citizens of the world, accept the 'glorious liberty of the children of God,' and be free! This is your divine right." Having accepted the teaching of Christian Science, I have proved its liberating power in many instances. I have been liberated from the enslavement of two prevalent habits, that of smoking and the use of intoxicating liquors. I would refer those who may be becoming interested in Christian Science, those who wish to learn more of what it is doing, to the testimonies of healing published in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel. If you wish to hear some of these, attend a Wednesday evening meeting in any Christian Science church. If you will listen with an open mind to the lecture you will be guided into the way which leads to an ever increasing enjoyment of peace, prosperity, health, and freedom.
