It is a joy to realize that every kind of discord or inharmony can be solved by the application of Christian Science. For the past thirteen years it has been my happy privilege to test the efficacy of this healing religion of Love, and it has not been found wanting. When faced with difficulties of suffering, sorrow, lack, or separation, and many other untoward experiences, I have been enabled to apply this law of healing as it is spiritually interpreted by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures;" and as a result I have obtained such a sense of peace, joy, and happiness as I could not realize was possible before studying Christian Science.

Some of the physical difficulties overcome have been acute indigestion, nervous prostration, and supposedly inherited stomach trouble. These healings occurred a number of years ago and have been permanent. A healing of sorrow stands out preëminently in my thought. During this experience, in my dire extremity I turned unreservedly to God in the firm faith that He could and would help me; and I am happy to state that throughout the entire experience I remained in a perfectly harmonious state of consciousness. To me that was conclusive proof that God is "a very present help in trouble;" or, as Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 66), "Trials are proofs of God's care."

I owe everything to Christian Science, which has given me abundant proof of its power to comfort and to heal.
