In the Weekly Advocate of June 20th there is a paragraph with the heading "A Christian Scientist," which is evidently intended as a joke against the Christian Science religion.

Christian Scientists take these things in good part, and without offense, and there is no individual on earth more alive to wit and to wholesome, joyous fun than the genuine Christian Scientist, even when the story is told against himself.

In this case, however, I am asking your permisison for a word of correction, because the accusation is often made seriously against Christian Science that it is unsympathetic, and the paragraph in question might be taken seriously by those who cannot always see a joke.
