With a heart overflowing with gratitude and thanksgiving that I have been vouchsafed a glimpse of the glorious Christ, Truth, and with a sincere desire to help and encourage someone who may still be wandering in the wilderness of human beliefs, doubts, and fears, I wish to testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science treatment. I was healed of acute stomach and bowel trouble of long standing, which the medical profession had been unable to cure. It has been well said that "man's extremity is God's opportunity," for when in a despairing frame of mind I turned to Christian Science I was completely healed in three treatments. Not only was the stomach trouble overcome, never to return, but I was also freed from the smoking and gambling habits. This was over twenty-two years ago, and I have never touched a drop of medicine since that time. I have experienced the great joy of seeing a number of the members of my family turn to the teachings of Christian Science and become earnest students and active and loyal workers in the Father's vineyard. My great desire is that I too may be found worthy to give a cup of living water to seekers for the truth, and by practical demonstration of its healing and redemptive efficacy spread the glorious gospel of Christian Science.
