The period in which you and I live is perhaps the most wonderful in human history. All about us are manifestations of progress. They may be seen in our manner of living, in our methods of business, in our means of transportation and communication, in our great educational opportunities, and in our broader outlook on life. Yet, considered in terms of the individual, it sometimes seems that this progress has not brought the happiness, the contentment, the peace, the joy, and the health that naturally and logically should come with it.
