Conditions which seem to have followed unemployment have necessitated various steps for the relief of families suffering from loss of income.

Christian Scientists, as individuals, have been glad to recognize civic enterprises and to cooperate with them in relief work. To this end, contributions of clothing, fuel, and other supplies may be properly made through such enterprises.

In The Mother Church Sunday School, in Boston, it was recently announced that children's clothing may be turned over to the Almoner of The Mother Church for distribution to needy children who attend this Sunday school. Branch churches which may be confronted with a similar need may find it advisable to administer relief in a like manner.
