When I was a very small lad my mother became an earnest student of Christian Science, and for many years I had the privilege of attending the Sunday school of a branch church. Later, my wife and I had the advantage of class instruction. For the loyal and unselfish teaching of the truths about God and His reflection, man, and for the many physical healings which have come to me and to my family through Christian Science, I am extremely grateful.
Soon after I finished school a serious illness was entirely healed through Christian Science treatment. Although there was no medical advice regarding this trouble, it was evident that there had been a burst appendix.
Since our marriage my wife and I have depended solely upon Christian Science in rearing our family of four children. The blessings we have received have been manifold. Many so-called children's diseases, both contagious and otherwise, have been healed. While an infant, our son was cured of what appeared to be a complete stoppage of the bowels. An infant daughter was healed of constant vomiting. Influenza, eczema, parasitical skin trouble, and planters' warts have been met and conquered through Christian Science treatment.
