Gratitude for the blessings I have received in Christian Science prompts me to give this testimony. About nine years ago I was taken ill. I could hardly breathe, and all the symptoms of pneumonia were apparent. We were obliged to ask a practitioner for help, and treatment was lovingly given me, so that in about a week I was able to get up and go about my household duties. Soon afterwards my hair came out, but it grew again in a short time.

Another time I had a proof of God's loving omnipotence and ever-presence. My sister-in-law left her little grandchild in my charge for a few hours. A minutes later I discovered that the child had eaten some poison. I took the little one in my arms and worked, as well as I knew how, as we are taught in Christian Science, and in a short time the child was better. Is it any wonder that I am profoundly grateful?

One Sunday morning, some time ago, I fainted, and in falling struck my head on a plaster wall. My husband helped me to get up, and we both declared the truth of being. Before long I felt better and was able to attend the church service. My husband also has received much good in Christian Science.
