In reply to a clergyman whose address appears in your issue of November 26, let me say that it consists of many denials which I will take Seriatim and explain.

1 Christian Science "denies that man is fallen." Man, in this statement, refers to man recorded in Genesis 1:26, as made in the image and likeness of God, spiritual and eternal. It does not refer to Adam or so-called fallen man, recorded in Genesis 2:7.

2 Christian Science "denies that any judgement awaits mankind." On page 291 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes, "No final judgment awaits mortals, for the judgment-day of wisdom comes hourly and continually, even the judgment by which mortal man is divested of all material error." Any thinking person can see that this is true.
