With a grateful heart I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the blessings and healings which have come to me through Christian Science.

For nine years I was under medical treatment. I went to various eminent physicians, but without avail. They diagnosed the condition as gallstones, kidney and stomach trouble. One of them advised an operation, but could give me no guaranty of cure, because the disease was too far advanced. Then a friend advised me to try Christian Science. I at once bought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Bible, which had always been a closed book to me. With the help of a loving practitioner I began to study these two books and the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and in about eight treatments I was freed from all suffering. The practitioner made God's presence clear to me, and she advised me to memorize the first verse of the twenty-seventh psalm. This healed me of fear. I am very grateful for this and all the other healings.

My husband never had accepted any religion; neither did he believe in God. After my wonderful healing he went to church with me, and had Christian Science treatment. He was healed of a complaint for which he had taken medicine for more than ten years. To-day he is a faithful follower of Christian Science. We are both sincerely grateful to God, to Mrs. Eddy for her great love to mankind, and to the dear practitioner for her patient work.
