The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Seneca, Kansas (First Church).

Lecturer: Richard J. Davis; introduced by Harvey B. Jones, who said:—

Christian Science, which was discovered by Mary Baker Eddy, is not a new religion, but is primitive Christianity. As Christian Scientists we strive continually to live up to the teachings of Christ Jesus. Christian Science has proved time and again, by its many wonderful healings, that Christ Jesus, as he said, did not mean that only his disciples then present should accomplish such works, but that everyone who became a disciple of Truth and understood him, should also do these things.
