Christian Science has changed my life entirely; it has given me hope, courage, faith in God, peace of mind, joy, health, and happiness, together with a better understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him. I became a member of an orthodox church when I was fourteen years old and was an active worker for many years; but I was not satisfied with its teachings about God. I had never been very strong or healthy. For sixteen years I suffered from a physical disorder, and had been under the care of several physicians who were very kind and did all they could to help me, but in vain.

I had heard of Christian Science through a dear friend, and asked her if I might attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting with her. I knew nothing of the healing power of God, but was very much impressed with the service. After I had attended the services about three times I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner and was healed in one treatment. This was my first glimpse of the healing power of God. This took place over nine years ago and the healing has been permanent. I also laid off glasses after about fourteen years of constant use, and my eyes are stronger now than ever before.

Chronic constipation, a condition manifested since childhood, has been overcome; also lumbago, nervousness, and neuralgia, from which I had suffered for years. Influenza, colds, a sprained ankle, a boil on my face, and a wart on my eyelid have all disappeared with the help of Christian Science practitioners. I have also been able to conquer error many times with the understanding I have of the healing power as taught in Christian Science.
