I came into Christian Science after failing to find comfort and healing in so-called mental science. First of all, I am grateful to God and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower. I am also grateful to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this new-old truth. My earnest and honest study of her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the Scriptures have been illumined, and my Bible has become a priceless treasure. The periodicals are a daily help.

Nine years ago I was permanently healed of a fibroid tumor. More recently, two instantaneous healings came about through my slight understanding of the truth about God and man's relation to Him. The first healing resulted from the realization of the truth contained in the words in "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health, p. 468), "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation," and my denial, This is not that manifestation. Every symptom of the grippe was overcome in less than two hours. The second healing was as follows. After walking with difficulty for several days, suffering much pain, one evening while walking I saw the unreality of pain and became instantly free.

I should like to express gratitude for all the sincere practitioners, also for every pioneer worker for the Cause. I know of nothing in life as great as divine Love's protection. I am very grateful for this truth that makes free.
