In deep gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings that have come to me through it, I give the following
When about ten years of age I heard a lad recite at a Sunday school entertainment the following beautiful words from the Bible; and although I remembered only a part of them, they impressed me very much and were the beginning of my spiritual awakening: "How shall they hear without a preacher?
Christian Science, the revelator of to-day and for all time to come, found me in despair five years and a half ago.
I was born of Jewish parents and raised in the Jewish faith, but found no consolation from sorrow and illness.
I did not come into Christian Science through physical healing, but because I felt the need of a religion; and not doubting Christian Science I commenced the study with a dear friend who taught me the way to read the Lesson-Sermon.
A profound sense of gratitude prompts me to testify to the many blessings and healings I have experienced in the course of many years.
I turned to Christian Science only as a last resort.
I first met students of Christian Science in 1915, when another lady and I were taking a boat trip.
From childhood I had been taught to revere the Bible, and early in life I joined an orthodox church.
I should like to tell of a wonderful cure I had of ulcers of the stomach.
I came into Christian Science after failing to find comfort and healing in so-called mental science.
