With a grateful heart I wish to testify to the wonderful healing in Christian Science of a complaint of many years' standing.

After the birth of our first child, in 1900, my health be gan to give way, and I was often under medical treatment. In November, 1906, I was operated upon in a private hospital, hoping that I should be completely healed of the complaint; but it was not so. After the operation I was confined to bed from four to six weeks every year. In August, 1915, I had another severe attack, with intense pains in the abdomen. Various specialists did all they could for me, but in vain. In February, 1923, I was in such a bad condition that the physician under whose treatment I was, advised another operation as the only way to save me.

A friend called my attention to Christian Science, and I was hopeful at once. I sent for a practitioner who lived near by, and she lovingly and patiently initiated me into the blessings of Christian Science. I recovered in an incredible manner, and regained my strength so that I can now accomplish my household duties without any difficulty. All my friends were astonished at my quick recovery. For all of these blessings I am very grateful to God, to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and no less so to the dear practitioner.—(Mrs.) Lisetta Fisch-Lanker, Hundwil, Switzerland.
