If "Onlooker" will only take the trouble to read the testimonies...

Aberdeen Press and Journal

If "Onlooker" will only take the trouble to read the testimonies of healing in the last chapter of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, he will see how Mrs. Eddy's teachings heal every form of disease. This book to-day is healing multitudes wherever it is earnestly read and studied.

After Mrs. Eddy had proved to the utmost that Christian Science healed, she taught her students to heal, and sent them forth to do this work throughout the civilized world. She then saw that the establishment of the vast organization of Christian Science required her whole time and consecration of thought. She writes on page 2 of her book "Rudimental Divine Science": "Healing physical sickness is the smallest part of Christian Science. It is only the bugle-call to thought and action, in the higher range of infinite goodness. The emphatic purpose of Christian Science is the healing of sin; and this task, sometimes, may be harder than the cure of disease; because, while mortals love to sin, they do not love to be sick."

All Mrs. Eddy's writings are based on the Bible, and are in exact accordance with the teachings of the Founder of Christianity, who said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Only those who practice these teachings and can prove them are in a position to judge of this fact. Has our critic found a better way than that of Christ Jesus? If so, why does he not present it to the world?
