I wish to express my gratitude for the healings which have been experienced in our family through the study of Christian Science. When our youngest daughter was six years old, she became very ill. A physician diagnosed the case as anæmia and double pneumonia. We then called for help from a Christian Science practitioner. It was lovingly given and resulted, in a short time, in complete healing. Another time she was healed of acute indigestion, and she is now a well, happy girl of thirteen.

A number of years ago I was healed of so-called hereditary heart disease and frequent attacks of acute gastritis. Congestive headaches did not disappear so quickly as the other diseases, because I was more fearful of the pain. Not until I realized what was holding me in bondage did I get my freedom. One day I found this statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 191), and it expresses my experience: "The human thought must free itself from self-imposed materiality and bondage."

I am indeed grateful to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, to our Leader, and to the loving practitioners. Christian Science proved to me that Truth does remove everything that is unlike God, and that He is an ever present help.
