No experience should be counted too severe if it brings...
No experience should be counted too severe if it brings us nearer to God; and each trial makes us wiser, a little stronger, and gives us a firmer grasp on Truth. In passing through the September 17, 1926, cataclysm in the city of Miami, Florida, both my husband and I were dazed for days afterward. Finally it dawned upon me what the error was, and by following the instruction of the Apostle Paul to look at the things that are unseen and not at the things that are seen, we were both soon freed. We were so grateful to be alive and well, and could see and feel God's protecting care everywhere we turned, as all our belongings were recovered, although wet and full of sand; and our immediate needs were met. We wish to express our sincere gratitude for the loving help that was so willingly given us by The Mother Church Relief Fund.
Christian Science has been my only physician since 1906. When I first took up the study of it I was healed of severe sick headaches by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. My desire is so to live that I may bring to others the healing truth as found in Christian Science.
(Mrs.)Margaret S. Root, Miami, Florida.
