I am glad to express my gratitude for all the good that Christian Science has brought into my experience, and especially for its protection. I did not take up the study of this Science for physical healing, but because it satisfactorily answered my questions regarding the Bible. The textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, has indeed proved a "key" to the Scriptures for me. I have experienced healings of many ills through Christian Science treatment, such as sprained ankle, tonsillitis, pleurisy, heavy colds, and many minor ailments; but besides all this Christian Science has brought me many proofs of its protecting power.

In my sixteen years of business experience I have not, owing to physical inharmony, been absent from my post when needed, except on one occasion. The work which I have been doing for the past eleven or more years has required my being at my post seven days a week, and many of those days covered twelve to fifteen hours of concentrated work. While there have been times when physical disorders have appeared quite serious, I have been protected in doing my duty, and have found healing eventually through the truth as given in the Bible and by Mrs. Eddy in her writings. It has been a joy to prove in this way that our Leader's statement on page 385 of Science and Health is true: "Whatever it is your duty to do, you can do without harm to yourself." In traveling to and from my work at all hours of the day and night, I have always experienced a sense of protection. During a strike, when the train which I was traveling in was stoned, and at another time when we collided with another train, I was unafraid and safe. The protective thoughts given in the ninety-first psalm have proved most helpful to me at such times.

It is small wonder that those who have found so much good in Christian Science are always ready to express loving appreciation to God for having supplied this age, through our revered Leader, with the revelation of His ever available laws for our help and protection. And to Mrs. Eddy, who labored so faithfully and patiently to give the world this revelation in a form it could understand and apply, I am most grateful.
