For some seventeen years I have had no physician other than spiritual truth as revealed in Christian Science. Physical healings have been experienced many times without the aid of a practitioner, with what seemed to be little work on my part. However, a testing time came. Through what seemed to me to be a great loss I found myself in a very serious condition physically. A nervous trouble had developed which seemed to cause the muscles to contract, making every move not only difficult but also, in many cases, extremely painful. Great fear was expressed by friends and relatives. A prominent specialist said that no doubt I would remain in this condition, or grow worse, gradually becoming a semi-invalid for the remainder of my life. Despite these many discouraging statements the practitioner lovingly and untiringly held to the truth, patiently working with me through these trying months. We won, and I am now completely healed with not one symptom of the difficulty left.

I am deeply grateful for the lessons I have learned from this experience and for the greater realization of Truth which I have gained. I am also grateful for the various activities through which Christian Science is reaching the world.

I have but one outstanding desire, namely, to assist in whatever way I may to carry on the great work so lovingly outlined by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Angeline Blanchard, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
